In Collaboration with MTN, Nabed is now in Sudan!
Nabed released the daily SMS service in collaboration with MTN in Sudan, to help spread health awareness across Arab societies.
The content source of this service is Mayo Clinic, one of the leading American hospitals specialized in providing medical care, health awareness and scientific researches. This service includes channels designed to suit the needs and interests of all segments of the society such as heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
This service is also regularly updated to keep up with the World Health Days and different seasons, through monthly content that changes according to these seasons.
The National Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Genetics displays Nabed’s TV Channel to Educate Patients
The Middle Eastern and North African region has the second highest rate of increase in diabetes globally, and the number of people with diabetes projected to increase by 96.2% in 2035. With the strong presence of this disease in our region, Health care facilities are becoming more aware of the importance to provide the diabetic community with the best services possible, to help them manage their condition. In this context, the National Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Genetics in Jordan, has collaborated with Nabed, to raise patients’ awareness and to guide them towards taking well-informed decisions regarding their medical condition.
World Diabetes Day is marked every year on 14 November. This year, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) focused on the importance of technology in providing healthcare to diabetic patients. In this context, DHA selected international companies to take part in “World Diabetes Day- Advances in Diabetes” event, which was held in Dubai Future Accelerators (DFA), Emirates Towers.
