Dubai Health Authority Selects Nabed as a Key Partner in World Diabetes Day

World Diabetes Day is marked every year on 14 November. This year, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) focused on the importance of technology in providing healthcare to diabetic patients. In this context, DHA selected international companies to take part in “World Diabetes Day- Advances in Diabetes” event, which was held in Dubai Future Accelerators (DFA), Emirates Towers.

Nabed has been select, among many leading technology providers for treating and managing diabetes. Nabed presented its digital ecosystem that allows health care providers to spread awareness among their patients.

This innovative ecosystem has several interactive services that accompany the patient from the moment they enter the clinic and even after their visit. Including an educational TV broadcast and tablets in the waiting room and other state-of the art tools that provide specialized and credible health education messages to diabetic patients.

During this event, Senior DHA officials including Dr Younis Kazim, CEO of Dubai Healthcare Corporation (DHC) and Dr Ahmad Bin Kalban, CEO of the Specialised Healthcare Services Sector, met with the companies at DFA, to discuss the use of latest technologies in diabetes management.

Finally, the Authority emphasized the importance of technology in improving the health care sector, and how it empowers patients to reach the best healthcare outcomes.
